Raphaëlle Guyot is firmly part of the ‘new Burgundy’ wave that has been exciting palates for the past decade. But one of the risks of being a micro-producer in an area as tenuous as Burgundy is that sometimes the weather conditions can be down-right catastrophic. Raphaëlle is naturally curious about grapes beyond chardonnay and pinot noir, so during the challenging vintage of 2024, she decided to look further to see what else she could bring into the cellar to work with.

These new range of wines are exiting and dynamic. This is one of our favorites: Cabernet Franc grown by her friends at La Grange Tiphaine in the Touraine region. Vibrant, fresh, lively. If necessity is the mother of invention…we are certainly hopeful this wine continues to be made beyond this vintage.
