Mathilde Magne spent a decade working as an agronomist and oenologist in Bordeaux before heading to Burgundy and spending three years in the cellar of Sylvain Pataille (one of our favorites). Inspired to start her own project, she headed to the Loire valley and acquired about 6 acres of chenin blanc, thus creating Terres d'Imaginaire. She strives to highlight the intersection of terroir, personal taste, and innovation. 

The oldest vines and the smallest site are celebrated here. A one-acre parcel planted in 1939 on green-grey sandstone. This wine is made almost exactly the same as the Coteaux Roux bottling with just a bit more new oak.

This wine is expected to be available to ship by mid November.
