Mathilde Magne spent a decade working as an agronomist and oenologist in Bordeaux before heading to Burgundy and spending three years in the cellar of Sylvain Pataille (one of our favorites). Inspired to start her own project, she headed to the Loire valley and acquired about 6 acres of chenin blanc, thus creating Terres d'Imaginaire. She strives to highlight the intersection of terroir, personal taste, and innovation. 

Planted in 1993 on a steep slope of schist, sandstone, and quartz, this chenin blanc is crushed underfoot, pressed gently with an old vertical press, and aged in larger oak (a touch of which is new) for a year.

This wine is expected to be available to ship by mid November.
