La Vigne Cendrée is the smallest and most introspective of Boudignon’s parcels—just half a hectare planted on a mosaic of schist, clay, and volcanic rhyolite high above the village of Savennières. The site’s quiet isolation and dense soils give rise to a wine that is focused, serious, and built to evolve slowly over time. Farmed organically and fermented with indigenous yeasts, it sees no malolactic conversion and no new oak, preserving its purity and tightly wound structure. 

This is chenin blanc in its most elemental form: saline, smoky, and shimmering with energy. Aromas of crushed stone, citrus oil, and warm hay give way to a palate that bristles with mineral precision and finishes with a fine, salty grip.
