Luis Oberrauch farms just 5,000 vines in the South Tyrolean village of Ora, many of them pergola-trained and over 50 years old. With deep roots in the region and a fiercely hands-on approach, he crafts elegant, small-production wines from indigenous varieties that are bottled unfined, unfiltered, and that are unmistakably Alpine in character.

This is Luis’s most textural and soulful lagrein, aged primarily in amphora from old vines rooted in deep, porphyritic soils. Fermented with native yeasts and 30% whole clusters, the wine is bold yet precise with blue fruits and undertones of cocoa and alpine herbs across the palate. 

Structured yet vibrant, this is a wine for alpine evenings and long golden hours. Get the grill going and enjoy it across the table.
