What started in 1963 as a project to showcase Alberto Zuccardi’s innovative irrigation system has evolved over the course of three generations into one of Argentina’s most visionary estates. Zuccardi marks the first Argentine wine brand to earn three 100-point scores from Robert Parker and our first Argentine wine offering.

Director of winemaking Sebastián Zuccardi joined the family business in 2002, and immediately looked to the Uco Valley—high-altitude vineyards at the foot of the Andes, where alluvial soils rich in calcium carbonate combine with extreme diurnal temperature shifts to produce wine of rare intensity and elegance.

Sourced from a dramatic .93 hectare plot atop alluvial stones and calcareous material, Sebastián Zuccardi describes this wine as having “maximum precision.” Fermented whole cluster with native yeasts and aged entirely in concrete, it opens sleek and mouth-watering, with notes of crushed stone, pomegranate, and violets.
