What started in 1963 as a project to showcase Alberto Zuccardi’s innovative irrigation system has evolved over the course of three generations into one of Argentina’s most visionary estates. Zuccardi marks the first Argentine wine brand to earn three 100-point scores from Robert Parker and our first Argentine wine offering.

Director of winemaking Sebastián Zuccardi joined the family business in 2002, and immediately looked to the Uco Valley—high-altitude vineyards at the foot of the Andes, where alluvial soils rich in calcium carbonate combine with extreme diurnal temperature shifts to produce wine of rare intensity and elegance.

A passion project of Sebastián, this Champagne-method wine is entirely Chardonnay sourced from La Carrera, one of the highest and coldest areas of the Valle de Uco, at 1550 meters above sea level. Aged on the lees for 30 months, it’s marked by notes of sunflower honey, whole wheat brioche, and lemon pith, with elegant bubbles and a long, fresh finish. Absolutely lovely.
