Amongst the first round of ‘grower champagne’ producers to break into the US market, the work of Frederic Savart has always been compelling and continues to be a touchstone for thoughtful, terroir-driven Champagne. Of course, the downside to producers like this becoming more well known is that there is less of it to go around. Working with just 4 hectares of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay across two villages, Ecueil and Villers-aux-Noeuds,  the production has not increased. The demand certainly has. There are only a few thousand cases to share globally each year, and we are honored to be home to these few bottles.

Expression is Frederic Savart at his most intimate and focused. Just 400 bottles are made in any given year, and fewer still in magnum. Always single-vintage, always from old vine pinot noir across four Ecueil plots. Fermented and aged in 500L barrels, Expression is bottled without dosage, offering a pure and powerful glimpse into Savart’s vision.
