Jean-Louis Dutraive is certainly a member of our Beaujolais pantheon. Taking over the family estate in the late 1980s, his joyful, lush, age-worthy wines and his commitment to healthy viticulture established his legacy for years to come. While the family purchased their estate in Fleurie in the late 1960s, they kept this old family parcel in Brouilly with very old vines, some over 100 years, planted on a unique terroir of limestone and clay. A wonderful counterpart to the family’s iconic Fleurie bottlings.
