We come together around the idea of saying “yes”: A small word that contains everything.

Stazzo Lu Ciaccaru is a restored and stunningly beautiful agriturismo in Gallura, Northern Sardinia, born from Geraldina Giovannoni’s desire to honor her maternal roots. Today, her son Nico carries the vision forward with the estate’s first wines, grown among wild Mediterranean scrub and granite hills.


While the flagship Vermentino offers a sweeping view of the estate’s bright beginning, Clos Lu Ciaccaru narrows the focus, a closeup both finite and dazzling. Sourced from the smallest and most expressive parcel on the property, this single-vineyard cuvée captures the intimate side of Gallura’s rugged terrain where vermentino thrives and takes on a different personality from its mainland interpretations. Here it shows up wild and windswept, yet weighted like the pure granite soils on which the vines here thrive.


A brief cold soak on the skins adds dimension without weighing down the fruit. The result is unmistakably vermentino, but deeper in tone: more layered aromatically, more textural on the palate, and built with aging potential in mind. Think preserved lemon, wild fennel, and crushed stones, carried on a sea breeze. Stainless steel aging keeps it vivid and clean, but there’s an inward energy here that sets it apart. Just 200 cases were produced providing a quiet study in precision, place, and possibility.
