Amongst the first round of ‘grower champagne’ producers to break into the US market, the work of Frederic Savart has always been compelling and continues to be a touchstone for thoughtful, terroir-driven Champagne. Of course, the downside to producers like this becoming more well known is that there is less of it to go around. Working with just 4 hectares of pinot Noir and chardonnay across two villages, Ecueil and Villers-aux-Noeuds, the production has not increased. The demand certainly has. There are only a few thousand cases to share globally each year, and we are honored to be home to these few bottles.

Introduced in 2016, the Haute Couture blends 100% chardonnay from the legendary Grand Crus of Le Mesnil and Oger, with limited production of approximately 2,650 bottles. Fermented and aged 10 months in used 350L French oak without malolactic conversion, it's finished with a mere 2.5 g/L dosage. Ethereal aromas of white peach, lime blossom, and fresh grated ginger, with chalky minerality throughout and a fresh, saline finish. Splendid now, but sublime through 2035.
