After a 2-hour maceration and native-yeast fermentation, the wine ages 11 months in used barrel followed by 18 months in bottle before release. 2022 is precise despite the vintage’s warmth, with notes of white grapefruit, crushed chalk, fresh sage, and a seemingly electric currant of minerality throughout.
