In 2020, he sold to Jean-Marie Fourrier of Domaine Fourrier in Gevrey-Chambertin, who trained under Jayer himself and worked his legendary 1988 harvest.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA wet, cool spring in 2022 brought disease pressure during flowering and cut yields by roughly half. What remained was concentrated fruit that ripened well through a better summer and autumn.
