He immediately incorporated biodynamic farming on this unique granite plot.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe 2018 Vinhas Velhas Branco comes from vineyards planted in 1903 and massal selections replanted forty years ago, a blend of arinto, assario, fernão pires, tamarez, and roupeiro (among others), fermented and aged in stainless steel and old French oak. The wine shows remarkable complexity with notes of white peach, quince, beeswax, dried thyme, and a pronounced mineral spine.
